About us

Manuel Bellido started to build guitars in 1957 taught by master Eduardo Ferrer. Later Manuel trained his brother José López Bellido, and within time trained almost an entire school of guitar makers, including his sons Jesús, Miguel Ángel and Mauricio.

The Bellido family are quintessential representatives of the Granada school of guitar making. Jesús, Mauricio and Miguel Ángel work in their father workshop, each one building their guitars individually, controlling the entire process from beginning to end, from the careful selection of woods to the final assembly.
